Default Futaba 4pk - issues???

Hi

I was wanting to know from any 4pk owner about any issues what so ever with the radio. Im really considering purchasing one. Are the overheating issues still there?? im in Australia and its a major problem down here with the 3pk FASST but i want to know if they have fixed the problem with the 4pk??

also what is its pros and cons??

cheers

I have run my 4pk with 2 bls352 servos in an MBX6 with nimh rx pack for over an hour any time I can. Never had any grief.

here in kuwait where the temp are almost 25 to 35 degree, and racing in the mid of the sun, we never have any issue on our servo remote or reciever.

Anybody use the 604 receivers with lipo without a regulator? Would love to do this, but at the price of these receivers definitely don't want to be the guinea pig!

Love mine! Run it with the 604RX, BLS servos, and regulated lipo. No issues!

there's rumor's of having to just send in your old 603's and you should get a new one with a "new chip" that will cure the overheating issue....im not to sure on how true this is....but i did read it on a previous thread similar to this.

I've been running my 4pk w/604 rec. since it came out. One of the earlier units afaik.

NO overheating issues; or issues of any kind at all.

Have run it with Futaba digital and Hitec Digital servo's in 1/8 buggies; no problem.s
