Default vspec

can anyone give me some opinions.

i have a vspec. the rod blew on it and so i sent it to os. they replaced the rod but wouldnt replace the piston and sleeve it damaged. so w/e i bought a ninja piston and sleeve. i cleaned out the engine put the new piston and sleeve in and went to do break in and it sounds really loud, as if my exhaust came off but its not. i have to tear it back apart because it still sounds like i might of missed some small pieces of metal but does anyone have any ideas on what the loud noise could be

Sounds like rear bearing or the block might be cracked.

+1 definately check the bearings. If it is not that inspect the case. The rod could have cracked the case when it let go.

do yourself a favor and dont chase it to far as it can get quite expensive. Ditch the pO.S. and pick up something reliable like a navarossi sirio trinity or a GO. JMO.
