My son bought one 3 years ago, we raced it 1 year with not doing any "set-ups" and ran great, took a couple heats and made one main that year, we are more into the truggies and mt tho, but I have been thinking about racing it next year competively,, I know theres better buggies out there now, but if your a half ass driver, you'll be able to compete with it yet.. we still have the original engine in it yet and its still a rocket and a very strong car...

The turmoil is pretty good. They are tough and drive pretty good.

The only thing is that I heard they are being discontinued so parts might get hard to find. For that reason I would get something else.

sportwerksrc.com is owned by Horizon Hobbies, so I would hope parts support might linger on for a bit....

It's mostly Tire selection, then Driver....or is that Driver, then Tire selection?

Good info in this thread.

http://www.rctech.net/forum/electric...e-legal-4.html

I ran the turmoil for a season and a half. Did well in the 06 and 07 RC Pro Series with it.
