Crazy thing is he was standing behind it so the vehicle was going away from him.... He could barely see the landing.

Agreed but this is Jason Ruona we are talking about... the man is a legend, and one of the nicest guys you will ever meet.

It takes a heck of a ramp to back flip a buggy. You probably wont see it done much on a regular track...besides Psycho blast

Sweet.

Our local club has done the monster truck show for a few years now.

They wouldn't let run on thier ramps during the show, so we had to bring our own.

We were getting about 40' straight up on a vert ramp we made.
The most I was able to pull was 4 backflips(xxx4 7x2 w/truck tires on the back)
Cars were caught on the landing.(most of the time)

They let us on thier ramps before the show though and jump sweet.
