stock OFNA pinion's or Losi ?...did you drill new holes for the motor bolts ? did you have to move the cage around at all to get the motor's to sit without touching anything. ?

That looks like the whole ofna cage in there. Notice the belt tensioner and overall different shape.

Question for Johnny. If this is the case(ofna cage and everything) does the ofna cage mount right in with the stock screw holes, or did you have to drill new holes? A list of the parts you used would be very appreciated.

It is the Losi Motor mount redrilled for the 775 motors......Ofna pinions, idler and belt.......barely fits in there..lol....Not that difficult to do...

That sure doesn't look like my losi motor mount cage. It is a completely different shape.

Aww MAn....Your gonna go make me look...LOL...I have a big zip lock bag of left over parts...I will check it out.....It was last Year when I reto'ed the box.....and now that I think about it....I think it was the Ofna Motor mount.....I remember redrilling the idler and doing some dremel work......think it was to get the motors closer so they fit in the box.........just buy 2 motors, mount, idler, belt, pinions....maybe even the motor screws and go to it.......its easier then working on a Kyosho....J/K

Yeah that is the ofna mount. I think I'm gonna just order the whole ofna truggy start box and try to combine the two. If I can't get the ofna motors into the losi box somehow I will just use the complete ofna box. It is almost as much $$ to buy all the ofna parts as it is to just buy the whole box(motors alone are $25 a piece, whole box is $95). And If I get the whole box I know I can always just put that back togather and carry 2 boxes around. I already have a chrome top that gets the job done but only for 1 car.

YEp....thats what I did.....buying the box is the way to go.........it really isnt that hard. The hardest part was just thinking up the idea....LOL....I think all I did was cut the adjusting slot in the mount so the wotors would roll in more twards eachother....then remounted the idler to take up the slack in the belt .....then pulled the motors tight....to tighten the belt. I remember some of the hole matched up in the mout to the bottom starter housing.........Oh I made marks on the upper housing to mark the original center line of the wheel......then drilled the Ofna Mount so the wheel was in the same position.....WOW...Its all coming back to me SHEEEEEEEEEEEEESH......LMAO...Im bout ready to turn the box back into the original Ofna box....LOL...unless I can get the Losi box to start Our Z01B's and Z01T's...........
