Default Charger to 4S Lipo

Hello guys,
This week I finally finished the rebuild of my Losi Star Box.
Basically, a new color, new wires 12awg and a new Lipo Pack 2200mAh 25C 4S.

One question from my side:

What kind of charger are you using to full fill this 4S pack ?

Actualy, I have a Duratrax ICE supplied by a ordinary computer power, but when I conect and start to charge, a error message apears.

Do you have any sugestion of power to supply my ICE ?

Thanks
Cestari

I use my Losi charger with alligator clips, to run off a car battery. It worked fine until the car battery went dead.

the Ice should charge a 4 cell no problem's as long as the setting's are right....i dont know why it would be giving you an error...check the error code to the manual and see what it says.

Yep. I use the ICE chargers also. If the settings are correct it should work great. 4s(14.8V) 2000mAh batteries are awesome for starter boxes.

Sorry to bump an old thread, but i have a question.

Are you guys running higher C rating lipo packs having a problem with the motors stalling easily? Mine stalls fairly easily, but i'm running only a 15c max burst lipo.

That's what i figured, but i wasn't sure if it was just how weak the motors were or something. I'll definitely upgrade the pack when i get a new engine. - Thanks

hey all.

I picked up a new losi stasrter box today with the 775 motor. am in the middle of doing a rewire with deans all the way through.

I also purchased a zippy 5000mah 4S lipo for it, has anyone worked out a neat way to mount the battery with the supplied hardware. I am looking a making a new base to mount the battery at the moment.

Any ideas or other pics please post.

thanks

Which ever way your looking at the box you want it to turn the motor Counter Clockwise. Normally when starting with the exhaust the wheel should be turning towards yourself.

Well i finally burnt out my 550 motors, so i switched to Twin 775 motor. What i did was put the insides from the ofna truggy box in my losi box, except for the belt and wheel because the ofna ones didnt fit. I only need to do alittle dremel work on the losi box to make the motor/wheel mount line up properly. I also needed to make a new belt tensioner, i made it out of some spare bearings i had.
