cen 7.7 in revo
 

hey im putting the cen 7.7 in my revo...what am i going to have to change out to make it work...
clutch?
flywheel?
motor mounts i know
will the output shaft bolt up to the revo 3.3 stuff

try it and find out.

Since you are more than doubling the engine size, buy a lot of upgraded driveline parts. A LOT.

say goodbye to your differentials and probably tranny. why people tend to do stupid things like this.

revo's have a gear reduction tranny for a reason......a Cen 7.7 is gonna sheer gears and break parts faster then you could replace them. :nod:

That motor has torque, no real power. I doubt it has 1.7hp even though its listed at 5hp. You will be fine, with the stock drivetrain. Just loosing the slipper. Have you marked it up to see if you can fit it first. Your going to have to shim the tranny up and move it forward. You have a project. But its possible. CLutch and flywheel I'd got with Qoncepts. The flywheel is thin and allows the bigblock clutch more room than the standard BB setup. Motor mount you can look at either Traxxas BB Kit, call New Era models and seee if ther BB kit can accomodate the CEN before you try to purchase it. Also Qoncepts make a BB kit fot the Revo.

1.7hp if it were on 50% nitro maby. :lol:
