What about Reckward Tuning's Mielke Masterfix 2500 (EFRA 2041) - are they any good?

since it is EFRA 2041 it has to be internaly same as EBmods 2041 (that has just different header) and and mielke 2041. materials might differ.

Who you callin kook? Sorry, i've been looking for it for a while and not been able to find it.... thanks for the link, but it's still too expensive... They (Losi) need to clone the 2060 now

It's a clone... I cant remember who it was but someone here has measured the 2, side by side and all the dimentions are identical... And before you ask, yes including the internal measurements

I've been running v-specs since they were first released, and believe it or not the best pipe I've found for one (at least in my neck of the woods) is a JP-1. Now I've been breaking in a v-spec pro mod with and eb mods 2041 and I can tell you hands down it's not the best pipe for it. Don't get me wrong though. It has power from bottom to top but I believe o.s. smoothed this engine out and putting a smooth pipe on such as the 2041 is a mistake. The plus side is you will get crazy fuel mileage but it just doesn't seem to have enough power to keep up with the likes of my other v-specs mated to
JP-1's. Temps were 216-228 also. I have a brand new o.s. 2050 that I'm going to slap on it and retune. I'm sure the engine will stay smooth no matter what pipe I put on it, however; it's the delivery that I want to change. If the 2050 doesn't satisfy me, I will go back to my old faithful and get another JP-1.

Follow this link to AB Mods so you can see 4 pipes on the V Spec.
http://www.abmods.com/Dynosheets.html
Looks ike the MSR 1005 is the winner.
Modded VSpec on MSR 1005 dyno
One thing about forums is everyone thinks they have the best and everything else is junk. But the Dyno doesnt lie. Dont ever go cheap. If you have a V Spec pay the money to have it run right. Whats the p[oint of a $300 motor thats getting beat by $150 motor because of a cheap pipe. I had and option of Ofna 053 and Novarossi 9853. I paid the extra money and my header fit way better than the cheap ones. You get what you pay for.

Look at the dyno I posted above. The one at AB Mods has the Novarossi 9853 on the V Spec. The 9853, Werks 053 and Ofna 053 is the same pipe. Just different quality.

+1 for the 2060 I find it the best on my Speed, I am guessing it will be the best on the V-Spec as well.

I would give the losi re11 pipe a shot on any vspec/speed engine. It is about as close to a 2050 as you can get without getting the 2050 itself.

The following link is not it but it is hardcoated and it gives you a idea..

I just picked up a VZB as a back up to my NR Plus4. I tried the Dynamite 053 with both a ) and ] header. It was far better with the ] header, it kinda fell flat on the top with the ) one. Probably around 8-9 minutes of runtime judging by the amount of fuel left in the tank after a 5 minute qual (I was testing different combos in my 3 quals that day) Then I tried the Losi pipe that comes with their RTR's with the ] header from my OFNA 053 in my final qual. Had more power bottom to top, and it revved higher and STUPID runtimes. Had over 1/2 tank left after. Because of some stupid problems with the buggy I only managed to qualify for the C main. Ran this pipe in the 10 Minute C and had just planned to risk it and go the distance, but took a big lead and decided to just pit. I came in a 6-6:30 and my pit guy said I had at least a half a tank left. I won the C for the bump. Filled it fired it right back up and went out for the 15 minute B. I pitted a 8 minutes with approx 1/4 tank left, was running 2nd at about 9 minutes when a crash broke a shock shaft. Still managed to finish 3rd driving the rest of the race, didn't have to pit again.

I just picked up the RE-11, it looks similar to the 2050 we have in our store but the 2050 uses the ] header. I'm going to try both ) and ] this Saturday at a BIG track where it can stretch it's legs. I'll post Sunday here with what I find.
