Default The BEST Buggy Shocks!

Ok, well a little bit disappointed about how the Hyper 9 was distributed with different shockies around the place but anywho.

What are considered the best shocks for 1/8 offroad buggy?

Have heard lots about Jammin's?

Hot bodies 16mm big bores are smooth and cheap go to ebay and grab a couple sets and they are what you need for a T-maxx because every other brand of shock has short front and long rears and that wont work on your truck you need all the same.

I too am curious about the mechanics of these shocks. How do the internals work to change the damping effects?

best shocks for maxx trucks are 13mm ofna shocks with unlimited engineering progressive springs - front are correct lenght. all the extra big bore shocks are too thick

I used to run losi 8ight shocks on my maxx, but I have custom made upper arms, but went back to ofna shocks

TKO will be testing the Virus shocks shortly. The screw on the cap allows you to change the dampening. You can go form hard to soft. It effects compression and rebound. So you can change the shock feel without changing oil.
