Well they arent really gritty, they just dont spin perfectly smooth. Im not really racing competatively much so I will just see if any of the Losi guys have extras at the track.

If I were to run the bearings I have now vs. new bearings, what would i notice?

+1 on blowing the grease out of CB bearings. As far as oil for the other bearings I use Sonic Super Oil, it's a skate oil that works great in these bearings http://www.sonicsports.com
There bearing washer does pretty good too, But I have a sonic washer from Integy I use.

Weird, the bearings came in a little tube! instead of a little baggy

I feel special

My car is nice, my diff, clutch, and center diff are all 5x10x4. The only other bearings are the engine and wheel

Clutch bearings +1 - Also the 15x21x4 bearings don't fail often but are way cheaper at avid $1 compared to AE's $5.

I just replaced all the bearings in my RC8T with Avid Bearings - The very gritty, non-smooth bearings where the Front and Rear Diffs, and outer wheel hub bearings (all 8x16x5), the steering bearings (6x10x3) and the chrome steering posts were warn. The center diff and pinion bearings really didn't need replacing but for a $1 and piece of mind, yes.

I bought 10 clutch bearings - when I took the clutch apart the stock bearings were in pieces.
