Carbon or epoxy brake discs
Looking to reduce my weight on the drive train of my mbx6. I would like to place some epoxy or carbon brake discs on it .
Is there anybody who has expirence with it?

I don't think that carbon, fiberglass, etc. brake discs are any lighter than the steel discs. The selling point of them is "less brake fade" and "fuel-resistant". I don't know how accurate those claims are, either.

I prefer a fiber disc over metal....the Carbon fiber disc's are ok but i still prefer the Stock yellowish disc's over anything.

I believe the TTR/RC8 brake rotors are lighter than stock MBX6. I just fitted them on. You have to use the MBX5R brake plates or AE plates and cut the lower plastic rotor guides to clear them. Or just remove the lower disk guides from the diff mounts. They stop better IMO.

Carbon rotors weigh 5+ times less than steel!
They work awesome!
The draw back is that they wear really fast and now are very expensive to make. (Correctly)
WRD2 had a set up called C2C which used carbon pads as well. That set up was 20 times lighter than stock steel disks with steel backers & pads. (and in the case of Kyosho's ACRE pads were 40+ times lighter.
