Use only a small amout of thread lock, too much just makes it worse. Usually when my clutch screw loosens, if it loosens, its time to clean the clutch anyway.

I like to let the threadlock dry overnight.

If your engine or clutch gets too hot it'll loosen up the thread lock.

If your clutch bearings are shot it could shake things loose.

If your clutch gear is hitting the chassis that'll knock things loose to.

If your clutch endplay is set too tight that can cause the clutch screw to have a load on it that'll eventually loosen it as well.

If a sparrow flys over the track on a cloudy day that'll loosen the clutch screw.

If your car has the color blue on it anywhere........yup, loose clutch screw!

The clutch nut is under the clutch shoes. Its holding on the flywheel. The screw that threads into the crank and holds the clutch bell on, I call it the clutch screw or crank screw.
