Sounds like a winner to me...I'll be picking up a set( or two ) when they become available for the RC8T.

Which issue, and what page of XRC were these spotted in ?

it certainly would help the shock, I think it's brilliant lateral thinking!

If the magnets fit the Kyosho big bore shocks, i'd definately buy them.

I still can't get over the genius behind Tex's shocks, even though I've never seen them in action, I have absolutely no doubt what they will do. I would normally try and make something like them for myself, but not in this case, I'll be more than happy to buy them, and pay tribute to the designer.

Have you ever played with a neodymium magnet? Those little guys are STRONG. I got 100 of them that are 1/16 by 1/4 I use to hold stuff while building a model or kit. Its close to impossible to get the like poles to touch each other.

I do hope Tex makes magnets to fit shocks that are already current in the market... I'd really hate to stop using those lurvely, ice smooth velvet shocks.
If possible, I'd like the magnets for the Kyosho shocks and (looks like) the custom spring cap(with the magnet in it)

I'm confidant Tex's shocks are great, but Kyosho's shock coating is just wicked!

Our local track is (possibly) one of the roughest, rutted tracks in existence (lots of rock, mixture of grass, soil, sand, mud-caked carpeting). I'd lurve to see my mp9 sail over all of that. +wink+
