I just read threw the whole threat. I can't wait till there is a release date set up. Sounds like a GREAT concept. I will defiantly buy a set of these to first test on my buggy. If they are anything like the quality of the halo paintball hoppers these will be awesome to say the least.

A local driver here is doing the last few rounds of testing on the "full production" models of the shocks and working out what small details and set up to already include in the final package.

I would say watch for some news here pretty soon on this getting ready to hit the shelves.

has there been an A/B comparison in lap times with a good driver? Same driver, same car, same track, just shocks changed. I'm curious to know what these will do vs a normal shock.

Great news. I have been waiting for some news on these shocks. I am always looking to run something new from the US. Especially here in these Japanese tracks. Looking forward to it.

Excellent thread..except the part where people were taking shots at Tex.

The magnet idea is just genius..did you guys hear my hand clap my forehead ?
I can't wait to see these in action..I hope that you make them for the RC8T Tex. Best of luck in your new venture..you obviously will have much support when they do hit the market COUNT ME IN.

I saw what looked like to be more of his custom materials on a tester vehicle. From what I could see they looked great, more refined, and on the track it is obvious that the shocks work in a more optimized manner. I am looking forward to these getting to market and I will definately jump on them. I've now watched 3 different vehicles with them and all were doing things that I thought wasn't possible.

When are they coming out?

Is there a set in the works for HB D8T?

I like the idea of a shock that is "active"

As mentioned throughout the thread, there is no set date on release and he is making 4 different lengths so they will work on any car.

I don't know about the picture in the magazine part, but I will say they do look pretty sweet when you actually see them in person.

I didn't get a chance to talk to Tex on Tuesday since they were busy dialing up their slashes for the Slash exhibition at the RC Pro Finals next week.

I do know these are/have been tested on the XRay/Mugen, and the lateset production model shocks I saw were being run on the Losi 2.0. I'm sure other bugs/trugs have been running them too, but these specific ones are what I have seen with my own eyes, and they are dialed.

Ever seen a Losi land any other way then at a perfect angle and not chassis slap??! I know I have!!
