Unhappy can ne one please help hyper 7tq

Hi all,
I had some trouble with my hyper 7tq and I donít know what is wrong with it . well I try to roll it on the ground and it donít roll or move so I check the brake and the brake is not lock, and I try to push hard on the ground it have a ďpopĒ sound like the engines is stopping the car rolling. so I take the glow plug out and it move but when I put it back in it lock again. so can ne one help me,how can I fix it. thank all

Sounds like you have either a clutch bearing that has seized or you broke a clutch spring causing the clutch shoe to wedge against the clutch bell. Either way you're going to have to pull the motor and make sure that the clutch bell turns freely and smoothly. Clutch bearings are a normal wear item on these 1/8 cars. I replace mine before every big weekend and sometimes replace them before the main (after qualifying).

thanks, and you are right after I have a look, I find the 2 bearing in the Clutch bell is falling apart, and the clutch is fine but when I try to roll the flyweel it seem to be very stiff is the normal?

the flywheel should be stiff. thats because your engine has compression

Better stock up on some CB bearings

Nitrohouse.com..they stock all the Hyper parts, or shop ebay....

Picked up a brand new ring and pinnion gear on EBAY for a measley $4.00Would of cost 40+ at a marked up local shop

+1..I got a new Hyper 7 chassis a few months back for $10!! Brand new...it was $80 everywhere else

Yeup thats who I get my parts from.For a buck a auction Ive been stalking up on parts.Even thoe hypers dont brake easly,Its allways good to have spare parts on hand.

yea thats proberty a clutch bearing or u need to adjust your brake linkage .u will like the hyper 7 its kind of heavy but u can get more lighter parts for it
it can take beating its not bad for club racing it can hang with the newer buggys depending on the driver
