it would only be the roto start when it's being used, as the EMP from the motor might throw it off. I doubt it would though. Your phone wouldn't. Are you near any radio masts? Or HAM radio antenna? they might cause some interference.

Didn't you say (in your other thread) you were running near a full size race track? Is that the only time you had trouble? Race tracks use all manner of radio gear and would most likely be the problem. Cell phones are not likely to give problems...and the roto start might cause a glitch but I don't think it could cause a runaway. If it were me I would do a range test, I can tell you how if you don't already know. Take a good look at both antenna's, have they been abused? On the transmitter is your antenna the removable type? Is it tight? On the receiver the wire can be broken inside and cause weird things to happen like very short range. Let us know what you find.

post what system your using, and if its am, fm or dsm. and for interference....should be all good as all surface radio signals are free, thats why whey make the certain frequencies....I had a problem once and i was due to a nipped antenna wire. check all wiring, batteries, and If it persist go to a wide open space like a park or something like that with nothing in sight. post your findings!!!and good luck
