Default 3pk users...help me out!!...lol

so i got myself a 3pk couple days back...been reading the HUGE manual lol and getting use to it...i do have a couple questions though...im running 2.4 fast...a local around me told me to use it on ppm...now ive been reading that if u have have digital servo's which i do (futaba bls351's) u should run it on hrs...the reason i want to run it hrs is because the fail safe...if u run it ppm there is no fail safe...so where should i have it???...also any tricks u guys know about let me know...this is certainly alot more in depth radio then my previous...thanks alot guys..also whats a good battery non lipo(no charger) to run instead of that garbage ni-cd it comes with..

Set it in HRS and set your failsafe through the menu, although you can also utilize the failsafe when send in PPM I believe, or is it PCM?! Can't remember now been so long since I had my 3PK, but anyway you can use the failsafe outside of HRS its just set differently (Via the set button on the transmitter module), just read through your 2.4ghz addendum sheet.

Set the radio the HRS mode if your running the Futaba digital servos. It will has quicker reaction time. Personally, I never set the failsafe on any of my vehicles. I haven't had a reason to use it.

The stock battery sucks. I got a 2500 NiMh pack off of Ebay. They were two for $30 I believe. They last usually entire day's use or more.
