Tuning a nitro motor?

Is there a sticky or website that details how to tune?

I just got into Nitro cars and last week I bought a Revo 3.3 and a MGT 8.0 both brand new rtr

I had some people help me breaking the motors in (idled through 2 tanks, 3rd tank just putting around at 1/4 throttle, 4th tank reving up to 1/2 throttle and puffing around, 5th tank increased to 3/4, and 6th went full throttle on both motors i'm assuming I did it right?)

I'm just not totally sure on tuning, for now I just adjust the top end and use a temp gun and try to keep it around 200 -210. I havn't adjusted the low or mid either on the 8.0 and I'm assuming the 3.3 just has a high and low?

Any help or links would be much appreciated so I know I'm getting the most out of my vehicles

Google it. Or just find a youtube video. It will tell you everything you need to know about tuning.

This guy has a 10 part series on breaking in and tuning nitro engines. The tuning video is part 10. (search this: How to Break in a nitro RC engine Part 10)

Edit, here's the one
