Default Question about buying a new engine

I'm lookin at buyin my first new engine, an O.S. .21 VG buggy engine.
my question is; does a new engine come with all the components? it looks like it comes with a glow plug and maybe a shim for the head but what I don't know is if it comes with a conrod, piston, and a sleeve.
Thanks for the help

Yes! A new engine will come complete. Only thing you will need is a glowplug , fuel , and in some cases a different backplate. Depending on how you want to start the engine..

99.9% of engines are sold complete. You will want to pick up extra glow plugs...

Ok, thanks guys. I figured as much. I just didn't want to order a new engine only to wait around for it, then find out I need to order the insides, then wait around for those.

WOW with the prices should be all there lol. Sure hope you have some idea on how to tune these engines if not make sure you read up before running them to get an idea of what to look for.

Well, without it's insides it wouldn't be an engine; haha....just a crankcase, carb and cooling head!

I wouldnt recommend that motor. Get either a GO tech 3 port, or a Novarossi 2001 bf, RB S3, they are all around the same price and all are 10 times better engines.

+1... Don't let the OS name on the VG fool you, steer clear of it. I recommend the Go 3-port as well, it rips, and you can get them for $99 on modhobby.com. I highly recommend that motor.

the VG is a good mill, but you'll find yourself wanting more power on a larger track. especially when you can't clear the big jumps. Like others have suggested you might want to look into a different one that might give you the power your looking for.
