Stalling

I got this engine 2nd hand right after break in (PTM GoTech 5 port). I just fired it up for the 1st time today and if I let it idle for more than say 10 seconds (sometimes not even that) it stalls. Also when I blip the throttle, I'd say 10-15% (while it's sitting on the starter box) it stalls.

New to nitro so not sure where to start tuning. They guy I got the engine from had leaned it a little but said it was not at race tune yet.

Running an OS P3 turbo plug and Byrons Gen2 30%

Thanks!

Did the pinch test, and the RPMs raise just enough to not engage the clutch (M2C medium/normal weight, .9 springs) from all the videos I've watched on tuning this seems about where I'd want it correct? The top end needle seems a little fat and I get lots of smoke when I blip the gas, then it stalls.

I leaned out the LSN a little bit at a time 1/2 a turn, seems to idle better and longer now but will still stall when I gas it. Uploading a vid to you tube right now. be back in a few with it.

I may just take you up on that if I can't figure it out.

Thanks!

It's loading up at that idle, wich the idle is good, but the rush from the hsn being fat id killing it, also i would heat it up some with a heat gun, at 115 degrees, it's putting alot of load on the rod, and the sleeve is not expanding, once you do this your idle will come up, if the guy you got it from has put ten tanks through it, put it on the ground, lean the hsn 1 to 2 ours and drive it, it need;s more heat than what is curruntly in it.

just to add to mr twister, make sure the temp on the motor is above 200 before you do a full pull. Also, wrap that head with foil just until you get the handle on it.
