Tire Balancer set Up ?
 

I bought this tire balancer.

And this to use to mount the tires.

My question is there a better way to mount the tires to the balancer?

if you havent got one yet you should check out the hudy one, its easier to use

The adapter is a PITA to use...I just use an extra hub and nut.

i had to do the same when i was using that balancer, i figured out a way to correct the balancing issues for good on my truggy wheels, i started using the jconcept truggy tires, they dont have to be balanced at all, and hook up real good and show good wear characteristics

Can you help me out here, I'm a little lost?

you just need a 17mm nut and hub from any 1/8th scale car, they are easier then the adaptors

Why is that adapter so hard to use? You leave one o-ring one it at all times, add the other to balance and then you just push on it and it pops out. Thats hard to use?
Much easier then a hex and nut.

I use a spare wheel hub 17mm. I took a spare throttle linkage spring and some extra fuel tubing and spaced the hub towards the middle of the bar and no problems the innovative adapter sucks if you have big hands and a 1/2 offset wheel the little rubber o-ring fights you the whole way.

Sort of what I am talking about I grabbed this off of Neo-Buggy. I gave mine a little more space for wobble room on some truggy tires.

I use the same balancer & a old jammin hub & nut I run buggy & 1/2 offset truggy.Never thought to see how zero offset would work with the stock spacing?
