Is there still going to be a brushless buggy class? I am waiting for my stuff to get back from AZ so I can get my PT #s and sign up. Is open buggy and truggy still available. I should have my stuff back today and be able to sign up later today or tomorrow I can't wait. You all put on a great race last year and this years looks to be even better

Hey all,

Is the Boulder City (Silver State) track ever open for just practice? I'm in Boulder City a few weekends a year for downhill mountain bike races and training. I've driven the Silver Bowl track before and it is pretty beat compared to the pics of the Silver State track. I'd love to drive that track if it's ever open when I'm in town.

the next open track day is march 7. they dont open it very often. check up on sincityrc.com or silverstaterc.com.

the silverbowl track is new and improved we race there about every saturday. we take pritty good care of it (we try our best).

the boulder city track is very nice.

i have a video of the current layout with sc8s running.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8gabt_IPx_8

sorry for the bad quality video, i was marshalling at the same time.

Richard saxton, mike kaaz, jason ashton, and a couple other pros were running, they ran a short course, usually we utilize the middle part of the track.

this track is fun.

The Silver Bowl track is also a public park facility that has 30+ people driving on it a day. Its going to get hammered, and we do maintance every friday to smooth out ruts, and pot holes.

Default track

Is there a address for the track so I can Mapquest it from Arizona or is it easy to find. I lived in Vegas for 15 years and I know Bolder City is small.

Sorry, I don't mean to be bagging on Silver Bowl. We had a blast driving there into the night with the lights and a few beverages. We don't even have a large outdoor track in my area, so I really wasn't complaining. It just happens that I'm in Boulder City a few times a year and would love to drive that world class track. I doubt I could make a special trip on a race weekend because I travel a lot for mountain bike races (which is fun/business for me).
