Default Orion Servo's Thread

Thought I would start a thread for these. I plan to pick some up as they are in stock now. They have impressive specs and a very competetive price.

Anybody have any experience with these yet? I'm wondering if they are a new design or just rebadged. Still a great price for the specs the claim.

they are awesome...
I run the 2015 in buggy and truggy throttle and steering
just make sure to use the rubber grommets. but VERY smooth
I was using the futaba 351's and they are alot smoother and quieter than they were.

not sure you would want to be using these in an 1/8 scale, aluminum gears like airtronics, not a hot combo. Not saying dont, but i had 2 airtronics frag out on me in my 8ight for no reason.

I've used the Airtronics 94357 and 94358 with no issues. And they cost alot more than these. I think that the specs of the orion servos are quite good at the price they are going for.

If i'm correct they are rebadged. But the original brand named Sävox has just released them, so yeah they're new. I tought they're already some time in the bussines but only for flight servoes... But yeah, i've heard good things about them too.
Here's some info: http://www.savoxservos.nl/?page_id=370
Just look at the specs and they're exactly the same as the Orions.

+1 they are rebadged Savox servos. I'm waiting on my set to turn up (savox) as they look really good and they are getting good reveiws throughout europe.

no plastic gears like the ace's and they weight a lot less too

I was looking at trying 1 of these myself. And was wondering if they were rebaged which I dont mind I have checked out the Savox before. They have alum gears? Didnt see that, I seen some of the Savox ones have a mixture of tit and steel. And the weight of those models is lighter than most. I will be getting 1 or 2 to try. Orion wont put their name on just anything. Look at their new ESC KO PROPO on the bottum of it.

I'm probably picking up two for my mp9. Titanium gears, aluminum case it and orion and the savox do look the same.
