Default Engine sealant

I want to buy engine sealant. Here in Holland, the hobby shops don't sell engine sealant specially for rc engines. So I have to buy some at the automotive or scooter shop. I just went to the scooter shop and they selled blue some blue liquid sealant. Does this the job well or do need to buy something else? Cuz I find it hard to find here. Thanks

you want silicone rubber gasket sealant (RTV). It must be oxygen sensor safe, not the cheap stuff.

Uhm well, if you mean jetski's etc. not really. But the scooter shop does sell Honda and yamaha. But they selled a different brand sealant than Honda or Yamaha. I googled it up and found a scooter forum, but 7 of the 10 people on those forums who use this stuff say it's cr*p. So i'm not sure. I think i'll pass on that one.
But the same owner also has a bike shop. Maybe I can call them, but I think they sell the same stuff, but dunno sure. I think model specific sealant is the best. But LHS here just don't sell it. I can order it from the US though... But it takes so damn long to come here... They say Loctite is the thing to have.
I know a automotive shop that also sells RTV in a tube, but can't get there by bike. And my dad can't bting me there because of work, and in the weekend he's out on a bussines trip. I 'll hear from ya'll

You can get the stuff at a hardware store or even a farm supply . I use copper based silicone sealant and works great .

RTV blue will do the job better than most products. As with any sealer, make sure the surfaces are clean and apply a thin coat.

I seal the carb and back plate with RTV blue.

Lucky 7 sealant is the thing to have, but I think I'm going to get the blue Loctite RTV, since its just a couple minutes driving to get it.
But if my dad's busy and he can't bring me there for a long period, then I'll order some Lucky 7 from Amain. Cuz it can get very long to come here...
I had to wait for 2+ months to get my order from Tower... But thats because of our erhhm.. how do you call it... import security... Sometimes stuff just lays there for weeks.

That blue loctite you linked doesn't say its sensor safe - it will corrode alum, the sensor safe stuff doesn't cause corrosion. If you use loctite, make sure it says its sensor safe.
