Truggy Engine..I know I know
I know there has been a million thread on what engine to buy for a truggy. I can buy any engine I want, but im looking for an engine that will best fit this discription!
A .21 for a (TRUGGY) that matches these priorties (but i want to stay $230 and under) 1. Easy Easy To Tune/break in 2. Realiable 3. Performance 4. Most out of you money's worth 5. Set it and forget:ha::ha: * Some engines I had in mind are the Trinity .21 Extech ( like also), Novarossi N21bf(maybe too soft), Rb s5( really likeing what i hear)....but i will let you guys inform me:nod: |
I know its 20 bucks more but the LHS guy has OS V Specs for $251 shipped to your door.
|
RB S5 would be great. You can contact mr. twister and he is selling the s5 modded for nib broken in for $225.

no such thing as a set it and forget it...if you do, you will be buying lots of motors over your lifetime..you should check your tune every race...
i'd like to cast my vote for the Jammin JPX .21 fits all your criteria, and the best pipe with it, is one of the cheepest...(Dynamite 053)..Tons of power, smooth band..Screaming top end..break in takes 20 minutes...easy to tune..blah, blah, blah... |

Im really thinking about this rb but do you guys think i should go stock because it easier to tune?.. I dont want something overpowering, Oh and $230 and below and looking for something that fits the description like the rb s5 maybe?
Yes there is NO such thing as set it and forget it. TUning just comes with nitro engines. Whenever your running, you'll find a tuning screwdriver in your power! If you are racing, get the modded, if you are just bashing, get the stock one. |
It was a joke guys lol geeze. Anyways so i think im gonna eliminate the nova n21b. So now its a jpx .21 or rbs5l2g or extech .24/.21:confused:

and what dynamite pipe i read alot of good things on these so i think im gonna get it.
|
I dont think you can go wrong with any of those 3...the only pipe I am sure about is the 053 with the Jammin...I have heard mixed reviews about pipes for the Extech..seems the new Big boy pipe might be a top end killer..not sure though... I am sure you will get your answers if you search hard enough

Well my track just got a sponsorship half thing with Holland Speedway in NY. Now they will be making a new one and probably bigger to compete with REV and all those race tracks. Anyways so how does the .21 extech compare to the .24
