The EBM5 if you can afford it and if not th GO tech .21 5 port race. Couple it with a dynamite 086 and you will get passed by nothing that cost under $400. I been there and done it and never got passed cosistently by anything out there.

Are the GO Techs .21 5 port easy to tune and break in? OR should i go with the Extech .21/.24. LOoking for the easiest to tune and breakin and quality out of the 2

Sirio CL7B Long Stroke, is around the same price as the v-spec, and they are rated to have as much power as a O.S 28!

The engine you lined bottom end isnt as good as other engines.

Out of all those, I would go with the GRP .21 non-tuned. I havent heard much about them though. But for $230, I dont know why you are not getting the RB S5? The most reliable easy to tune engine on that list (if you were to add it)

Only thing i've hurd bad bout the RB S5's...are that they dont last all that long...and of course this is based upon HOW u drive it also...but thats bout the only negative thing...unless someone can prove me wrong? i was thinkin bout gettin the S5 for my Losi 8T....but dunno if it will last long enough..any input would help!!! thnx.

I ran the crap out of a Dynamite .21 and it was great for over 5 tanks. For $219, hard to be beat

hello why not a vspec llike the rb motor but os vpsec with jp3 pipe is probably the best bang for the buck and it will turn out 10 gallons if tooken care of. but thats just my opinion. i really like the nova plus4 but it is out of your 230 price range as far as rb motors go they are great motors if cared for properly dont run nova 21bf has no bottom end not good for truggy.

don't do the v-spec........you have to change the conrod at a gallon the the speed conrod = not worth it

RBs/Nova's are really long lasting engines. DOnt know where you heard they didnt last long.
