The EBM5 if you can afford it and if not th GO tech .21 5 port race. Couple it with a dynamite 086 and you will get passed by nothing that cost under $400. I been there and done it and never got passed cosistently by anything out there.

Sirio CL7B Long Stroke, is around the same price as the v-spec, and they are rated to have as much power as a O.S 28!

-TRINITY EXTECH .21/.24
-SIRIO S21 CLB LONG STROKE
-Losi GRP .21 Off-Road Competition Buggy Engine (Standard Plug)

The engine you lined bottom end isnt as good as other engines.

Out of all those, I would go with the GRP .21 non-tuned. I havent heard much about them though. But for $230, I dont know why you are not getting the RB S5? The most reliable easy to tune engine on that list (if you were to add it)

I ran the crap out of a Dynamite .21 and it was great for over 5 tanks. For $219, hard to be beat

Default why not vspec

hello why not a vspec llike the rb motor but os vpsec with jp3 pipe is probably the best bang for the buck and it will turn out 10 gallons if tooken care of. but thats just my opinion. i really like the nova plus4 but it is out of your 230 price range as far as rb motors go they are great motors if cared for properly dont run nova 21bf has no bottom end not good for truggy.
