The grey molded insert that comes in their buggy tires. This insert is available seperately.

Hey Jesse, was just curious why you didn't go for the AKA foams in the buggy? I have been having pretty good success with the AKA foams with HB tires, but have never tried anything else. Are the Prolines something I should give a try? thx...

The AKA inserts in the HB tires I think are too firm and don't give a good shape to the tire. The small consistency/stability gains you receive from the AKA inserts are outweighed by the traction losses making the lap times a bit slower than a PL type/firmness insert.

Sorry for bringing this thread up but i just tried the HB tires(blocks and Khaos in blue(over 95F)) and found them very good...tried the gray stock...NOT molded foams since our tracks are hard-dusty-with holes.
Do you think molded foams will work even better?

Guys how is the stock molded HB foam compared to the proline one?
Which is softer and which is harder?

Also i noticed that the blocks don't offer too much steering after all (when run on multisurface tracks).
Are the khaos any better.

The pink compound are awesome. If the track is grooved or packed, try Megabites. On truggy, it seems like the only tire I need.

I have a brand new set of megabites sitting here. I just dont have anywhere to race within a 4 to 5 hour drive to try them. My local indoor put up a drop ceiling to save on heat, and you cant stand the nitro fumes now and got out numbered by electric on us running indoor.: I have a new pair of rims and foams that need some tires so I think I will just wait and see what the megabites feel like before I make a move .
