Default Hobby Headquarters, (Northeastern, Pa) Drums..

Hobby Headquarters in Drums,Pa is looking forward to a great 2009 season. Last season started slow and was eventually scrapped to concentrate on getting everything complete. The on site hobby shop is now complete. The track will be reconfigured for this season. The drivers stand will be covered. 1/8 buggy and truggy classes for sure and possibly an SC8 class if there are enough. We currently have about 10 drivers committed to running truggy and or buggy. Alan and Terri Cooper have put a great deal of time and money into building a great place to race. So give them a look at www.hhqrctrackpa.com and maybe join us for a race this season.

Thanks for starting the post rick,

Yes to all, this track is really dialed. I went up today for the fist time.

check out : http://s735.photobucket.com/albums/w...0headquarters/
The owner has really put alot of work into this track, it is literally a state of the art track, handicapped accessible as well. Pictures dont do it justice. The driverstand will also be covered by or during the start of the 09 season.

The Track is about an hour from The Lehigh Valley area. North of Palmerton.

Lets get some feedback going, so we can plan for a successful season..

It really is,

I think pitting will be like mostly every other off road track, bring a portable table/chair and pit table...

hope to see you up their,

i can verify the greatness of this track... i am an AVID patron to this shop, (ask allen about the national guard guy thats there every 2 weeks, lol)
the track looks great and the owners definatly take great pride in it. i WILL be at just about every race this summer, either i will be racing or my 6 yr old son will have his rustler there, and i look forward to running into some of you guys and having an awesome time. the onsite hobby shop is pretty well stocked, if he doesnt have it he can get it QUICKLY! there is one other hobby shop in stillwater (a little closer to my bashing grounds..) that has great cust. service but the shiper to his shop likes to play the slow shipping game. So i go to hobby headquarters and get my parts quickly.
hopefully i will see some of you there and if you see a 6' tall lad with a high and tight hanging with a 6yr old come over and say hi! (oh also 4'8" female mexican might be with me as well..... its my wife hahah) but dont say anything to her face aout being short. youll get a swift kick to the nu.s haha

see ya round fellas!

There is a another thread on this site that I had started in the track locator section. Maybe the mods can combine them.

Thumbs up Fun Day

Hey all,
Had a good time yesterday. Seems like opening day scoring systems glitch's are par for the course this year.. lol. The atmosphere was friendly and fun, New and old faces were good to see. Rudy it was fun dicing with you in the heats. Thanks Dave, Jack and Gregg for your pitting help.

To the track crew: the only thing I saw that I think would help would be blowing off the loose sand and stuff before watering so as not to make mud. Other than that the track was great and didn't blow out or rut up at all! The rolling start thing was ugly though...lol

Crystal and I will come back again.

Thanks again, Bill
