this years layout at the nitro challenge was the most difficult and technical track ive ever raced on or SEEN raced on. When the pro's are wrecking 2-3 times in a qaulifier you know its not an easy track.

The difficulty will change with different layouts, right now, with Joeys layout I would say the Pit is more difficult than the farm..Even the pro's were rolling their buggies at the Pit. There is a jump every 20 feet or so. This track is insane, and one of the most fun layouts you will ever drive..It will kick your ass from time to time, but keep you coming back for more.

Just from pics and videos I have seen I would rather go to the nitro pit, that place truly looks like the best thing since sliced bread.

It is the best thing since sliced bread, and that's coming from a fat guy
Joeys layout will stay up until June or so, so if anyone wants to drive it..We will welcome all visitors..Friday nights practice from 5-10 PM, and races Saturday from 2 till done, tracks opens at noon on saturdays...come one, come all...we love competition!!!! Ryan runs with us when he's in town also

Default do you take it over any sweet jumps???

The new layout is sick................ I will be running saturday night I hope they dont change it for a while. Super tough but all fun I am so glad it is in my backyard. Thank you to the DIRT and the Nitro pit and all the staff that is a great racing facility. I will improve tenfold driving this technical track my all time favorite so far.

Great job to everyone involved with the 2009 Nitro Challenge. It was great racing with everyone. Thanks to Joey for a great track and Kenny for calling a great program. I'd also like to thank Adrian Redding, Larry Numedahl, Mike and Hal Hudson, the AE crew, all the nitro racers from Colorado and Mike Cartwright for all the help. I can't forget Stav and Bill from One Hobbies for their help with getting my stuff shipped to and from the race. Sorry if I forgot anyone I'm sure I did.
For anyone who has not made it out to this race you will not be disappointed. The people of Surprise AZ are great. My family and friends had great service every where we went. There are also many things to see and do if you have some time away from the track.

Here are some picturs from the weekend. Thanks again to everyone.

The Pit owners are beginning work soon on a 1/5 track at the same complex. They do not allow 5 scale run on the pit, because it tears it up..

Original plans were for the area where the asphalt oval is..That track is dead..The Pit's thread will have all the details once they break ground, and I'm sure we will see it go up with us racing there every week
