Truggy tires?

I need some truggy tires. Don't have to be pro racing tires cause I don't race. So, just some normal tires, not really expensive ones.

None of them are really cheep. if you are not racing you should look into Badlands, or Knuckles they will last allot longer than any of the racing tires. Expect to be about $80-$100 for a set of 4 tires and rims.

You are looking to pay about $30-$40 for a pair of Proline tires without rims.

Jaz240 02-17-2009 06:03 PM

$60 or so

Dvx400Rider 02-17-2009 06:05 PM

Tires are like $25 a pair for truggy. then $20 for rims. There really aren't many truggy tires that aren't racing oriented. Badlands are like the only ones. What Kind of running are you doing? I believe HPI also makes some nubby tires that would last awhile on pavement and offroad dirt and grass.

I'm running on dirt and grass, might go on pavement, but it's not that likely. I think I have the stock tires on them I'm not sure. Once I get my servers and get it running, I'll post pictures of me driving it.

You might also want to look at the losi zombie maxx tires. they are really MT tires but will work on the truggy. they are probably the ultimate offroad/grass tire.

The losi zombie max's are prolly the best bet. or the proline badlands. any of the above would be fine for bashing.

If you end up with anything Proline DO NOT run the stock foam....spend a couple extra $$ and buy the Ofna foams...or even a set of panther Standard Inserts....Anything but the Proline molded crap...i had a set of badlands split a foam within the first couple days of owning them.
