If it is a box meant for 1/8 truggys, then probably yes.

I use the AE box for my RC8. I believe that box was made for 10th scale off and on road. It just happened to work with 8th buggy. I have the ofna truggy box also. I guess I would ask why you are looking at the AE box. price? already have one?
If you do not already have one I would look at a different box. I did burn up the motor in the AE box using it on my RC8. Don't get me wrong I do like the box and the way my buggy fits on it.

I bought 1. it seems to fit ok except i dont have the rr chassis or rr engine mounts. Ihave upgraded everything on me 8t except those 2, i red that i can file the opening on the chassis and if put the rr mounts in i can use a starter box. I just want to know if anyone has used an ae box with a 8t.

Yes. I have used the AE box on my 8T. It works fine. I prefer the Ofna truggy box to any other but the AE box worked fine on my 8T.
