Default Pipe number question.

Seems as though lots of pipes have numbers on the, 086, 2045, 2047 etc.

I'm just wondering if these numbers actually mean anything specific.

For example is a 2045 just two points of a 2047? Even if they are made by different manufacturers?

it is either manufacturers number or EFRA/ROAR/FEMCA approval number.

newer pipes of course will have higher approval number in their corresponding series

EFRA 3xxx pipes need to meet tougher noise requirements than 2xxx pipes

So basically, they have nothing to do with quality control and are just a number.

Too bad.

they are similar but have their own different quality's.

i know for a fact the Ofna 086 if significantly Louder then the Dyna 086...but at the same time they perform Very similar.
