Default clutch swap question

trying to cut down on spare parts to carry is there any reason i cant swap my 3 shoe cen clutch for the losi 8 4 shoe i have king head mounts so that shouldent be a problem

No reason's at all...but if you run a Jammin.21/.28 or LRP.21 or Trinity Drake.21/.28 or Picco Evo 2or3 you might have to modify the motor mount....thats only if your running this particular block.....also make sure the carb has sufficient clearance with the center diff...it can be a wee tight with certain motor's. i would also recommend a Ofna clutch bell over a stock Cen clutch bell....if thats what you were planning on running.

what it is i have a couple of complete losi 8 clutch setups with bells for my sons 8 and im trying to cut down on the amount of different parts i have to carry im about out of cen clutch parts and this would let me carry all losi instead of both thanks for the help

Oh so you are trying to run the losi clutch on the cen? Ok if thats the case you might run into an alignment problem because the losi clutch has a strange offset. The best way to cut down on parts is to run the same brand everything(cars).

The losi flywheel places the clutch pretty far away from the engine block. This is why the losi KHZ mount allows you to move the engine 2mm foreward so you can use a standard 3 shoe clutch. So basically if you put a losi clutch in a different car, it might sit too far foreward.
