For receiver packs I usually do 0.5A at home or 1.0A at the track and I charge my ignitior at 0.5A.

I charge my packs at 1C - that is, my 1600mA receiver packs at 1.6 Amps and my 1200mA glow plug igniter at 1.2 Amps. I use NiMH cells and don't bother discharging them except when running them.
