Default Silicon Fuel Line / non-hobby shop purchase?

Fuel line at the hobby shop is a rip off. Does anyone know of an on-line resource where you can buy silicon based fuel line by the role that is not a hobby shop?

as far as i know silicone line is mainly just used in our hobby, you cant use it for gasoline, or use the plastic line that the gas cars use for the nitro/alcohol, most shops sell it for a dollar a foot, isnt really that big of expense

You're right, it is expensive in the pre-packaged form, but my LHS sells it 1$/foot in "bulk" form and in every color you can imagine.

I just want to buy a 25 ft roll of it. While I could just buy 8-10 ft from the LHS I'd rather I have a whole role I can dispense at home.

Try ebay...they sell 1 foot for $1.
Or a 30 foot for $21.

I see that now.. Tower sells the Dub-Bro rolls.

What size do most run on 1/8 scale? The medium or large?

out of interest, why can't you use it for petrol? I put some on a 25cc 2 stroke i have, and apart from swelling a little inside the tank, it seems fine.

the gas attacks silicone lines, you should be using the plastic lines for gasoline, similar to what a weedeater would run

Thanks everyone, I'm going to order 50 feet of the "medium" fuel tubing. Now I can make more fuel tank handles and dongles for my body pins.
