Default Its 53degress out and my rustler is running lean on break in???

Ive countlessly been trying to break this rustler in without problems. But they come one after another. When I finally got it running and tried to break the car in I started to notice smoke stopped coming out the pipe and the idle would gradually rise. Eventually the tires started to spin real fast when I pick it up (on idle). The idle screw is set as low as it can go. I didnt touch the needles for break in?? MY spit evaporated in a few seconds. Whats going on?

Note: Outside temp- 53 degrees

It sound like your low speed may be a little lean try to richen it up a bit and if that does not work look for air leaks.

Check your idle gap make sure it is 0.7mm to 1mm when the carb is in neutral. Also it could be a lean LSN.

Hard to tell, how much did you change. The LSN is very sensitive, and hour or 2 is about the max you should adjust at once. Also as someone mentioned check your idle gap, it should be as wide as a paper clip.

Yea I set the idle gap. But even on richer high and lowe speed needles I still dont get any exhaust smoke.
