Default Max Power Engine

Does anybody have experience with the max power 8 port modified? Is it based on the 421 or 821 nova? RC TORO has one on their website and i keep thinking it would be a good runner alongside my speed motor. I want something a little different for a 2nd engine.

It's based off the 421B. It's a helluva motor. Power band everywhere. You won't regret it. Use 1.1 springs if you need snap and a low to mid range pipe like a 9853, 9901, or even the 9863 which I felt was the better of pipes.

Do you think it's a better running mill than the 21-7FMS? Where can you buy replacement p/s/r?

I am basing this on my 421BSX which is identical in model but the Max 8 port is just modded to the extreme. I'm pretty sure it will be just similar to the 21-7 FMS. I would call RCAMERICA for P/S/R parts. You can also go to Amain Hobbies for standard P/S/R sets.

p.s. I'm running the 421B in a truggy. Unbelievable power on tap.
