is my servo bad

ok i have a futuba servo im using it for my throttle and when using the brakes it shakes really bad but i turned the epa and it does it pretty much even with no pressure. so i switched the rev and it did not shake at all and held the brakes nice and tight is it possible for the servo to be bad in just one dierection. any help would be great

also the servo is s3305 and using a m11 with spektrum pro.

Open it and check the gears, also check the housing of the main gear shaft.its possible the gears are stripped on one side only, and that's why it only acts that way going one way

the servo is also really loud

So, does it shake like it has parkinsons?

I had this problem in my futaba. The reason it's doing that is the gears are worn slightly, and being that it's a digital servo it tries to center it's self constantly. Because of the play inbetween gears it will shake back and fourth. If you move it by hand it will stop untill you gas it, then it comes back.

Just replace all the gears. sometimes you can get away with replacing the center Idle gear, I think It's the black one. but if it's a servo with alot of miles on it, it's best to replace all the gears.

When my steering servo was doing that I nick named my car Michael J fox.

the sevo is hardly used so i think im just going to get a new one save some headaches.

And if it does it if you pin the throttle you may have traction control turned on. (The M11 has some... rather interesting features!)
