Default Deciding between 3 R/C's, some help please?

Okay, so I'm trading my PB gun for a R/C.

Heres the thing, im a TOTAL Newb when it comes to these things, i was hoping to get some help deciding on which is the better deal all around?

i'll be using the car on road, as well as off road on grass and possibly sand, maybe in dirt.

here are my choices:

1. Traxxas T-maxx 3.3. steering servo is upgraded to a hi tech, exhaust is upgraded, wheels & rims r 40 ser, k&n air filter, his truck was a 2.5 and he upgraded it to a 3.3. this is everything he told me, i dont really know much about much when it comes to the RC.

2. Thunder Tiger ST-1 1/8th scale truggy. aluminum bearing steering with the Saxton steering mod. carbon fiber chassis brace, Spektrum 2.4ghz radio, RB Concept .21 WS7-III engine, Airtronics ultra high speed, high torque steering servo, 3 sets of wheels and tires, TT.28 pull engine, and many spare parts, and bump starter.

3. was just also offered this, RC10 GT2 Factory team edition. Comes with novarossi .12 race engine. a box full of extra parts and tuning items like springs, etc. bunch of bodies for it, all custom paint jobs in pretty good shape.

which is the better deal, please help!

sorry if im a total newb, but im here to learn! i will be searching and reading in the mean time, but i need to make a decision by tomorrow, thats why im posting for help.

thanks in advance!

The T-maxx has go to be the most fun general bashing vehicle ever. Parts are easy to find and cheap. The 3.3 is a heck of an engine. Way more power than you can use.

No to the thunder tiger!!!!!!!

GT2- Not a bad choice at all but for where you plan on running it (through the grass, off curbs, flower beds, etc, the Maxx will be way more fun.

id go with the truggy...that way if u want to have some fun at ur local track u have a class to race in...and also it comes with decent electronics and a nice rb...it should move nice...if u end up liking the hobby and want to race u can take the pipe engine and elec off that car and use them in a more competitve truggy or buggy...thats what i would do

Close call, but the T-maxx should run about 45-50. The ST-1 should run about 40-45. There are several variables involved like gearing and fuel so it's hard to be excact.

I would get that st-1. Great engine, great radio, great servos. T-maxx is ok engine, craap radio, ok servos at best. The st-1 will be more tuff, faster and all round more fun I think. Also I know you say you will not get into racing now but later you probably will if you stick with the hobby. I was just like you and didnt want to race at firstbut then tried it once and it was a blast!!

Also what paintball gun would you trade just to make sure you are getting a good deal?

i didnt buy the gun. i got it a year ago on a trade for an in dash dvd monitor.

i know the gun is worth at LEAST $350 on eBay. im guessing the truck should be somewhere around that region.

gun is like new. seriously great condition. shoots flawlessly.

I'd say if that gun is worth $350 on Ebay... None of these are really a fair deal.

These trucks are Maybe $200 trucks.

But that's just my opinion.

The only one that would even be close would be the st-1. I say you try to sell your gun and save your money a bit and get an 8ight rtr or some other nicer trruck. I'd say if you want the t-maxx though ask for some money with the truck
