it leaks and will not idle right anymore so im thinking its sucking air and the temp is jumping up 30 deg. never seen a motor do this that fast . norm i would just junk it and buy a new one but with only 1/2 gal though it i dont want to do that yeah i still have a ninja that i love but thats for big races the rossi is just for club racing

Stripping the case and heat it up will allow you to push it out with a wood dowel. Reheat and install the new one by putting it cold from the freezer on the end of the crank nose and push it in the hot case. Let it cool off and reassemble the engine. You can use bearing press/pullers, but they cost quite a bit.

One note, it you run your engine fairly rich, it will sweat out of the front bearing, so make sure your tune is proper before condenming the bearing, unless you see actually see seal damage.

i understand that i have been racing for years but this is my first rossi motor and not to happy it went from running really good i was really happy with it and then it started all of this. it will not idle anymore. the other thing is that the glow might be going bad now that i think about it i dont think that i have changed the glow plug in it yet its the same one that came in it might be my prob with the idle prob. where has my head been??? i guess trying to get my pro series car ready

to check the front bearing is sucking air, crank it and spray carb cleaner at the front bearing and the engine should die instantly.. if not the front bearing is not your problem

Heat the case up and pop it out. get a TKO ceramic and then reheat the case. Dont cool the bearing as its to extreme of a temperature change to quick. It will slide in with the bearing at room temp.
