Default What pipe for a RB S7 .21 engine?

I am currently running a JP3 pipe on my RC8 with a new RB S7 seems like it could use a little more low end but screams on top end.

What do you recommend on a pipe for this motor? Or should i stick with what i have?

I would try the rb 2045 pipe.

if you can get by on milage, i always liked a jp-1 on this motor, it gives it a noticable boost on the bottom, but you will be pushing it to go 7 min. on a tank of gas.

on my gf's d8 she used a ws7 x3 with a Ae pipe. she gets around 8-9 min. on it.

she loves what she gets out of it, and plus the pipe is just under 50 bucks.

cant beat it.

the TTR pipe is the same thing.

just my 2 cents.

RB 9863 pipe is the two chambered loder version of the 2045. Less restrictive and plenty of bottom end. JP-1 is a fuel hog. Pair it with a short round header.

I heard somewhere the AE pipes are really nice for the price, but they fold like a taco if hit hard enough. The JP1 would be a nice combo, but you will lose full mileage.

+1, when i was running this motor before i started running Trinity products, i researched this a bit and the other option seemed to be the RB2020...if you can still get one im not even shure... it was supposed to be the bottom end pipe from RB

With the JP3 pipe durning practice im getting about 7-8min. I am only running local club races and in the 10 min heat i pit at a 5-6 min window, and i use the same 5-6 min window durning all mains just to be safe with no flame outs. I would rather take an extra pit than have a flame out.
But i might try the 2045 pipe and see, Anyone tried the new JP6 pipe yet?

Try this pipe it really wakes up the bottom end and gives great run time. I can do 9 mins easy on my S7.

i think the s5 has a better bottom than the s7 but dont have the top end, so pipe selection could be different. i think the jp-3 is a mid to top pipe so it should work ok.........but then again i ran the s7 for a while never tried the s5......to get the best milage you need the RB pipes.....at least thats what the experts (RB) say.....

Thumbs up

On the S7 i run the JP-4. It gets the best bottom end and race speed of all of the pipes I have tried. I have prefered the Losi RE-11 as of late for fuel milage and smooth power band. It will push 10 minutes with a 7mm restrictor.

Where do you race at??
I'm at Indy all of the time.
