what engine size does this truck use? and is there a known engine i should look into thats popular w/ this truck? kinda like the lrp z .28 spec 3 w/ the lst2. thanx, clay unruh

this truck will use .12 size motor, stick with a rotary carb instead of a slide as you will not need the extra power, I prefer the dynamite .12 RE geared with a 19 tooth clutch bell, run time around 10 minutes.

Keep in mind that there are 2 different types of cranks for .12 engines, the threaded also called standard or the SG type. You need the threaded crank. I'm on my 3rd OS CVR .12. If you can find one, its a great engine. It is easy to tune, gets 10+ minutes per tank, and I get about 2-3 years out of them.

With 10th scale gas truck, you need an engine that is smooth. I always run 20% nitro in mine because it smooths out the power band. A lot of people around my area run the dynamite because it has smooth power and costs less than $100.
