I have these old JR racing Z250 standard race servos that work fine and this 75Mhz reciever. Are these ok to put in a new nitro truck? like an SS kit from HPI or something?

depends. if you baby the truck around the track, they might or might not work. if you try and turn out fast laps they will last maybe a day at the track. you would be much better served running a z590m at throttle and a z650m at steering. IF your radio can do endpoints then it will work, if not get yourself a Spektrum DX2.0. (the Spektrum system comes with a z590m). yes, its a bit of change out of your pocket but in the long run you will be served much much much better. not to mention electronics failure will never end your day early

just checked - the spektrum system (with z590m) and the z650m can be had, shipped to your door, for $200 from A-Main
