Default Help Glow Plug Drama's

I am a little confused on reading things and trying to make some sense of it. I am guessing being a noob I must be missing something here. I bought the Hyper 8.5 RTR from RC Hobbies, now am I missing something here.

Inside the carby chamber I am assuming that is where the glow plug goes? If so I would assume the RTR would have come with this. Please any info would be appreciated I am going nuts trying to figure this out. It says I need to remove the glow plug and put my finger over the hole etc to get fuel through the chamber and them put the plug back in place. Well I gotta tell ya I dont see no plug.

Help someone lol

Cheers Mal

look into the cooling head hole. thats where glow plug is. use 8mm nutdriver to get it out

glow plug is ontop of the combustion chamber where it ignites compressed fuel/air mixture

Hi, Did you buy the plug? did you instaled on the top of the engine?
the RTR dont come with one.

To prime the engine, put your finger in the exhaust hole (pipe)and pull the starter.

I don't think I've ever seen an rtr not come with a glow plug... That is not rtr if they forgot the glow plug.

My thoughts exactly if there isn't one and it looks as though there isn't and my appologies if there is but I have to tell you all evidence points to me being half sane and no glow plug

It should also have come with a users manual. The manual should have a picture of what the glow plug looks like and where it goes. Or tell you to buy a glow plug if it does not come with one.

So if there's no plug in your Hyper, did they stick anything in the head?

Entry for dust/debris into an engine, in an RTR marketed toward people who are likely first-time into nitro. <shudder>

Do your best to not let anything get into the hole in the head... dust, sand, etc.
