from my experience, they never felt as smooth as the RB and Rex motors i use. I have seen guys get 2 gallons or less out of them, which you have to realize, in a 1/10 scale, thats alot of fuel, my RB and Rex went 3 gallons each.

That engine will far outlast 2 gallons if you know how to tune and never overheat it. It is a picco made engine and makes good power. I had a picco .12 last for over 6 gallons in a factory team gt and it still had compression and ran great when I sold it.

Hey R/Cdude
Did you want to race your xxxnt,or bash it. If you want to race it the OS.12
CV red head engine .56 hp is IMHO the smoothest and the best engine for
the Losi XXXNT,but they are now hard to find. For bashing see if you can find
a threaded crank 2hp+ OS .18TZ. You will never win a race with it, but it will
take you somewhere near 50mph and impress your friends.
Hope this helps.
