I have ran one, and it is a good little motor. It is easy to tune and is very reliable. To me it lacked some bottom end and the top end wasn't that fast either. My advice is to look at some other motors as there are better ones out there for the money.

I agree 100%, decent motor but not enough for competitive racing.
The platinum .12RE in my 1/10 gas truck is a whole differnt story.

I like the new line of NR's the FMS,plus4,p5xst

Please do not listen to anybody who says this is not a competitive engine!!!!!!
I race regularly at the nitro pit and other AZ tracks in the expert class, granted I am not sponsored or the fastest at the track, but have been running this brand for a long while and I keep up with some pretty ok drivers Run 20 % race fuel!!! Everyone thinks your nuts and then you beat them!! Some top drivers do run these engines, Degani and Weatherholt comes to mind. They are good and if you blow it its only 1/2 the price of an engine it will keep up with, but they seem to last longer anyway

Good luck mang

Cheap .21 engine. Modern starter box, finally!

Good little mill for the coin. factory needle settings were very fat for break in but after that she runs great. I've never been pulled down the strait

I bought it to use in a 8ight B, I mainly race truggy, but some of the long time racers ,said if I would practice with a buggy it would make me a better Truggy driver.
