Well can you be a little more specific? Are you looking for a 1/8 buggy, 1/8 truggy, monster truck, 1/10 stadium truck, 1/10 buggy, etc? And what kind of budget range are you looking at?

Hyper 7-End of. Cheap.Durable.Fun.Easy for spares

if your bashing get a monster truck.and in that market i would get a lst XXL. its an awesome basher, its durable and fast. it also has a 2 speed tranny AND you can put it in low and high gear. my dad had the lst2, the XXL is the updated version. but i sat there sittin still in low and floored it and i did a back flip, not liein..... i tried to do it again but never could but that shows how much torque it has

If you're going to bash, get the Savage XL. That thing is a monster.

We need to know his budget range first. If his budget is $300 or less then the LST, Savage or the Hyper 7 is out of the question.

I want to get either a stadium truck or monster truck, i have had a Duratrax Nitro Evader ST a while ago and it was fun but put me off nitro for a while.

I have a Team Associated MGT 4.6, all I can say about it is either get a rollcage or aluminum shock towers, as they break fairly fast, but other than that, it is very durable and fast.

If you need to get a rollcage to make it durable, chances are the truck itself isnt very durable.

Note how I mentioned shock towers, those aren't very durable when it is 5 degrees out, as 5 months out of the year are at or below freezing conditions in New England. That is the main reason, plus I don't feel like landing upside down and ripping the engine out of the truck when I run it without the body.

The MGT is Super durable and with alittle work race worthy I had 1 for a few years and loved it. Now if you want to go crazy get the 8.0 model, Biggest engine in land rc nitro, digital radio nice roto start unit.

For bashing, I would recommend the HPI Savage :)
