Default Truggy isn't sucking gas into the motor.

Anyone have an idea why? We've cleaned it and we even disconnected the tubes and blew air through them. When I put gas straight into the carborator it starts up, but not when I don't do that. It's not getting any fuel. Any suggestions on what I can do? Thanks.

Check your fuel tank and make sure the lid seals. Make sure you have the fuel lines going to the right places. If you have a filther make sure its not clogged. Try new fuel tubes. Try what Venturadc said, make sure your needles are not clogged.

It's an HPI, I think it's a 4.1, or maybe a .28 I'm not too sure.

The HSN (high speed needle) is on top of where the fuel goes into the motor.

I also have a pico 0-1, a cen .21 and a Losi Mach 427. They all need a rebuild. That Hpi is the only one that doesn't.

First i would check the obvious.. unhook the fuel line from the carb and place it into a container.. using the fuel line from the exhaust i would blow into it to make sure the fuel is flowing and if it flows properly then it may be your carb has junk build up and it may just need to be cleaned.

I took the line off and blew into it. Did this for both and air went through both. I think I have to get a new rubber piece that goes on the back of the hedder where the pipe connects to the engine. It's kinda old.
