Default Novarossi P5L P5X P5 PLus P5K Question

Hi just a question on Pistion/Linner can you use the P5X or P5L pistion/Linner in the P5 Plus or P5K ?
I can get 8036 or 8091 cheap on ebay they all use 7009 con rod.
Will the stroke be close enough to run OK?
Just trying to rebuild two engines cheap.
Also cannot find any assembly drawings for P5L!
Thanks
Jim

I think you need to correct the models you have there, never heard of P5L. As for P/S/R, I know the P5, P5X, P5XS and Plus 21-5, not the K, can be used as they just about the same. The original P5 P/S was revised when the P5X came out and has basically been the same up to the P5XS. The Plus 21-5, part number is different though (might be a different piston), looks the same as the older P5 P/S sets. The R4, R5, R7 rods will all work. The R6 was specific to JP racing and came with a black pin and no top bushing in the rod, so those must be used together, even though I have seen otherwise. The Plus 21-5K is more like the current Plus engines with a thicker top rim on the sleeve and a deeper head button.

the k block is different , ports dont line up the same and it has the double rim top to hold pinch longer . p5L is just the 21-5 part number that has a different piston (lighter and oil rings are 4 instead of 2 deep ones) , 8036 or 8038 if you want an 8 port
