i had my first race yesterday and had a blast but the one thing holding me back was tires. i am going to buy two diffrent sets of tires, on with small tread i guess its called, and one with deep rough tread. give me some good names of tires i should get.

i use the holeshot m2 and m3 lpr which are small pin tires, and for the bigger pin tires i use crimefighter m3 lpr, or panther gators soft

what are your race conditions?

Dry dusty track=soft

Wet packed track=medium

The medium compound last on average about 40% longer

Just throwing this out there......Scott Hughes and the Proline boys use track temp to determine what compound to run...If the track is too hot a Soft compound will turn Gummy and burn out rather quickly so they will run a med or hard pending on the temps they gather before a main.
